The House Hunters couple will likely find their dream cabin and/or consider cabins in Hochatown, Oklahoma. The original town of Hochatown was buried under water when Broken Bow Lake was created in 1970. Residents and some buildings were relocated to the west of the lake. When that happened, the next largest town was Broken Bow, so the entire area was called Broken Bow for years. In November 2022, Hochatown became an official city. The majority of the3,000+ vacation rental cabins are located in Hochatown. No vacation rental cabins are allowed in the city limits of Broken Bow.
